(A scene from The Robe, the first movie released in Cinemascope)

  1. How about equal time for Vistavision Becks?

  2. Maybe you could write about the differences between the two.

  3. Paul, do you want to do that? Could be fun.....

  4. I was going to a long piece on Vistavison for The Lady Eves Vertigo month a few years ago, but life got in the way. I don't have my notes, but in a nutshell Vista was a complete system including different film, cameras, and sound and projection, where "Scope " was a lens system. Big Difference !

  10. Attention all contributors: We have had such a wonderful response that we need to add another day, Monday the 16th. I have updated the list to accommodate this by putting newer bloggers on for Monday, and I had to move others as well. Please check this list again for your contribution date -- if anybody prefers another date, just let me know and I will be sure you get the day you want! I will also be posting this on the CMBA Facebook page...
